Inspired by Coffee
Food is our trigger to all design. Its color may inform our fashion. It’s texture may inform our artwork. Its shape may inform our interiors and its flavor will always inform our table. This week our inspiration is coffee. Bright, baggy, buttery, bready, bitter and baked. Cool beans roasted by cool people. Enjoy a cup or two or twelve with us. We’ll see you in the unisex bathroom line.
Heritage Breed Terrariums
When Matthew Mead reached out to us to find a use for his favorite jelly jars, we told him it wouldn’t be something pedestrian like jelly, jam, preserves, conserves or whatever the heck Limeys are currently calling the stuff they spread on a crumpet each morning. These ridiculously cool jars (like so many things in this ever so talented man’s collection) needed some grass-fed, pasture-raised lovin’. Voila, Heritage Breed Terrariums. A jelly jar with a conscience.
The Life of a Dandelion
Driving along the many pastures on the long country road that lead to my childhood home in Mississippi, I learned early on to recognize certain flowers that preceded the onset of summer. There was one spot (right by that heavy metal gate that I dreaded having to get off my three-wheeler to open) where I knew to watch for the annual sea of dandelion blooms.
