Behind the Scenes with Salted and Styled
There’s none among our creative collective who didn’t fall under the spell of videographer, Juwan Platt. Juwan, our new friend, is an old soul with a young eye. Always dressed to impress, he followed us around for three weeks while we produced a 22 page Savannah Magazine feature as well as tons of online collateral for our own site. We are happy to share this, the first of 5 short videos Juwan did chronicling our somewhat unorthodox process. Thank you Juwan…we owe you.

All in the Family
I grew up eating what was served to me. No one ever asked what I wanted, or offered an alternative to the salmon flopped on my plate flesh-side up, all pink and wet. Mom would leave the scales on the opposite side, so I’d have to flip it and slowly peel back its shiny, slithery coat. I’d curl my lip and wince.

Salted Inspiration
The Salted and Styled family of women… By day we walk the earth as photographers, stylists, writers and artists. By night we are dreamers and eaters. Sunlight or moonlight, we are always creating. It is in the colors, textures and tastes of food that we often find our inspiration. This week this family of women is inspired by salt.
