I’m not too embarrassed to share.
Me (standing in a field of peanuts): ” Damn, these plants aren’t ready yet.”
Chia (standing in the same field): “What do you mean?”
Me: “I don’t see any peanuts.”
Chia (pulling a plant out of the soil to expose the peanuts): “You’re kidding right?”
Me (laughing): “I’m an idiot.”

This week we are inspired by the best late Summer bounty Southeast Georgia has to offer. The peanut. We travel to Metter, GA and stand in the sandy soil to expose the beauty of the peanut and a bit of ignorance.
