A Fishy Story
Even though it’s the first time I’ve ever stepped foot inside Charles J. Russo Seafood in Savannah, Georgia, I’m hit with an oyster pallet of memories. The fish market’s utilitarian, no-frills décor and the understated scent of the sea feel vaguely familiar.
An Arrangement from the Farmer’s Market
Most Saturday mornings Byrdie, Woods and I head over to the SFC Farmer’s Market for fresh eggs, organic veggies, and a popsicle (or 2). While Brad is the chef in our house, I am the shopper. And I shop for beauty, not for taste. I see locally grown vegetables the same way I see flowers –some are amazingly beautiful while others can simply be passed by.
