Food is our trigger to all design. Its color may inform our fashion. It’s texture may inform our artwork. Its shape may inform our interiors and its flavor will always inform our table. This week our inspiration is the American Turkey. The beautiful spurs, fans, beards, snoods, caruncles, dewlaps, feathers and flesh have awakened our inventiveness and fueled our creativity. Welcome into our home for a week of large fowl inspired living and take a peek under the rug.

I stumbled upon your site by I finding myself at your post for Greek Baked Eggs, which look heavenly and plan to try for breakfast very soon.

I know I’m commenting on a back entry, but I was just wondering, what is the original source for the “I EAT pastured pork!” photo that you used in this post’s inspiration board? I am asking, because it’s a great image and I’d love to see a high-resolution version of it. I tried to look for it online earlier, but I may have used the wrong keywords to find it, so I thought I’d ask you directly, if you don’t mind.

Thanks for posting these great recipes and posts. You have amazing taste. I plan to compile a binder of all the recipes that I like and/or plan to try out, and I know that I’ll be turning to your website a lot for this project.
